Role within Nemesis
Within Nemesis, FECOAM strengthens the connection with agricultural cooperatives and the wider farming community in the Spanish Living Lab. The federation facilitates stakeholder engagement, supports the testing of soil health practices within cooperative networks, and promotes knowledge exchange among producers. By integrating co-solutions into cooperative structures, FECOAM helps assess their economic feasibility and scalability. Its strong regional network enhances dissemination, peer learning, and collective uptake of sustainable soil management practices, reinforcing the practical impact and long-term sustainability of Nemesis outcomes within the agri-food sector.
Furthermore, FECOAM has extensive experience in carrying out and managing innovation projects, and has a large technical and administrative team. FECOAM collects socio-economic data on agri-food cooperatives and acts as a link between member companies and government agencies and society, given its mandate to represent and defend the interests of agri-food cooperatives.
