BNEDER
Bureau national d'etudes pour le development rural (BNEDER) is Algeria’s national agency for rural development studies and planning. It provides technical expertise in land use planning, natural resource management, and sustainable rural development, supporting public authorities with studies, strategies, and field-based assessments aimed at improving environmental and agricultural resilience.
Role within Nemesis
Within Nemesis, BNEDER contributes institutional and technical expertise to support activities in the Tunisia/Algeria Living Lab. The agency brings experience in land evaluation, territorial planning, and the implementation of sustainable rural development strategies. BNEDER supports the adaptation and validation of co-solutions under local conditions, ensuring alignment with national land management policies and development priorities. By facilitating coordination with public authorities and regional stakeholders, BNEDER strengthens the practical applicability and policy relevance of project outcomes, enhancing the long-term integration of soil health solutions into rural planning frameworks.
